I’ve been a professional photographer for a long time (if I tell you how long, then you’ll know I’m old, so we’re going to skip that part so I have a lot of photog friends and one of them was the Maid of Honor in this wedding and entrusted me to photograph it – high honor, truly. I had the opportunity to travel for Krystal and Brett’s wedding (I will willingly travel to all the places) to Norfolk and while it was a chilly fall day, any chance to be that close to the water is a win-win, amiright?

Because it was cold, Krystal had the prettiest (faux?) fur shawl which I thought was the most glamarous touch for her already stunning dress. They opted to do a first look outside by the fireplace <squee> and then we followed with portraits surrounded by the foliage. Photographer heaven. I loved the personal touches, such as the polaroid engagement pictures hanging through the reception room; the golden decorations, and that cake topper was too cute.
