Hopeless romantic who's been married to my college sweetheart since, well, right after college (we don't need to know how long ago that was). We have two stunningly gorgeous boys, two dogs (my dog is my shadow and will be editing your photos by my side :). I drink coffee like a Gilmore Girl, dance during wedding receptions (while snapping pictures of course), am the queen of Pinterest DIY fails (but I'm gonna keep trying), love a good pedicure and never have a good hair day.
I could tell you the super exciting story about how I fell into wedding photography...except its not at all exciting. I was practically born with a camera in my hand (seriously, I don't remember a time when I wasn't taking pictures - we're talking 3/4 years old here) but growing up it was of storms, clouds, lightening (weather). After HS all my friends (who are LDS) started getting married, and being young and broke, I gifted them with images I took from their weddings and thats how I fell in love with wedding photography.
After college (degree in meteorology, minor in photography), I decided to pursue my passion - and started my photography business in 2007. I studied as a fine art film photographer and that's where my heart lies. My mission is to offer my couples a Fine Art Hybrid experience (Digital & Film). (Gooey part forthcoming) I aim to capture the raw emotion, joy, love and all the feels in romantic, dreamy, fine art images for you to view for the rest of your lives and share with your children and grandchildren.
